Sierra Health Foundation partners with The California Endowment to invest in organizations led by people of color and Tribal and other leaders from disinvested communities to support a field of strong nonprofit organizations. The program’s explicit focus on racial equity, leadership and capacity would lead the way for future Center programs, such as Leadership Development for Racial Equity, which provides grants from 2016 through 2019 to BIPOC-led, youth-focused organizations for capacity building and leadership development.
