Sierra Health Foundation and The Center staff lead the State’s San Joaquin Valley and Northern California regional efforts contributing to a complete Census 2020 count through coordination of nonprofit organizations connected with traditionally undercounted communities and neighborhoods. California’s unprecedented community mobilization around the Census resulted in stronger self-response rates and counts in hard-to-count communities.
