Leveraging philanthropic funding to strengthen the nonprofit sector

Sierra Health Foundation invests seed funding to launch The Center’s Community Economic Mobilization Initiative (CEMI) in partnership with seven additional funders. CEMI leverages grantmaking, technical assistance and power building to address historical and persistent inequities through creation of living wage, climate resilient employment opportunities.
